I'm not 18 or 19 - I'm 24 - but I'll chat with you if you want I read on your profile you're a writer, so am I. And you don't even have to worry about me hitting on you because I'm gay!
I'd like to make a few friends on here so if you want to message me, feel free.

When people meet for the first time, apart from saying hello, how are you. What do you talk about, I start getting tongue-tied and its not a nice feeling at all to have.

`I talk about what is going on around us..sometimes whatever I 'm thinking about. I also tend to ask questions. Depending on who I 'm talking to/what I 'm saying, i get tongue tied sometimes. Once i figure out I 'm interested in a guy or vice versa....then i get shy.

`About what do you write? I can chek it out from your profile too, but well lets keep this conversation going.
On other topic when you meet with new person and start to chat with their, after some time people like choose sides who asked most questions kind of stays the asker and other then takes roll of answerer. If you get tired of it coz it takes brain power to come up with new things all the time ask something where they can't answer you with short answers.
Real world examples are best, I changed job little bit ago and all the co-workers are new to me. Luckily with me came one other dude too who is really positive and career orientated. He actually knows our boss who is around our age and boss sister is his girlfriend. I didn't knew any of them before, but now that new guy loans be books to read, they are buseness books and self-aid books.
Then there are women (my age) who are married and little bit show off how well their life is going. With such people I tend to keep distance because I can't nor want to compete with. With co-worker men it's different story, they are more chill and I can joke around with them. They are silly jokes and we are kinda on same wave so we understand our jokes (be them inside jokes or not).
I get tongue-tied when conversation goes from neutral into scanning (like with who you live, what you do on weekends, where you go, with who, how much cash you spend).
But when I feel with who I am speaking is from my level then I have told them scanning info and they are totally okay with it. It makes me feel good.
